The Canal was occupied by tho British on Saturday night, prior to the arrival of the Alexandria force. The Canal will form the future base of all military operations.
Tiiousiuds or camels are being collected fit Sue*/, for transport purposes.
Barron De Lessops has issued a strong protest against the British occupation of the Canal. Ihe English Press advise his arrest.
