In the Legislative Assembly last night, a bill providing for an amalgamation of the legal professions in Victoria was read a second time, on the casting voto of the Speaker. ITIB HOP MARKET. Private telegrams from England report that the hop market will probably open with extreme rates. QUEENSLAND FINANCE. Biusbanh, August 17. In the Legislative Assembly last night, the estimates of expenditure came up for consideration, when the following votes were passed :—For immigration £350,000, for railways ii 1,570,000, for defence £70,000. .
