CANTERBURY WOOL SALES,
The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Ajreney Company, Limited, report having held an auction sale of wool—their seventh and last of the season—nt the Christchurch Wool ami Grain Warehouses, on Wednesday, when the attendance, though small, was composed almost entirely of buyers, who competed briskly for all lots brought before them. There was a varied catalogue, comprising 275 baleß, 252 of which passed tho hammer, at, for merino to 9|fl, crossbred to scoured ofopsbred B<l to 15£ d, scoured merino In 7;fi, creasy lambs B<l.
