Corn Exchange report for the week ending the 29th instant. The market for all clashes of grain continues exceedingly firm. Wheat.—Good shipping lines of Tuscan wheat are worth from 4s 9d to 4s lOd per buf-hnl f.0.b., other wheat from 4a 7d to 4s 9d per bushel, second quality wheat 4s 3d to 4s 5d per bushel, chick and broken wheat 3s 6d to 3s 9d per bushel delivered in Oiiristchurch.

Oats.—Good milling samples aro worth from 3s 4d to 3s Gd per bushel, feed quality 3s to ?.n 3d per t-u-jhel delivered in Christchuruh.

Barley.—Prime malting samples are worth from 4s 5d to 4s 7d per bushel, second quid it) malting 3s Gd to 3s 9d per bushel. Of feed quality there is very little offering. Beans are worth from 4s 2d to 4s 3d per bushel delivered in Christchurch. Grass Seed.—Machine dressed samples are worth from 4s 9d to 5s 3d per bushel f.o.b. Tbe demand is very small at present. Farmers'parcels, indifferently well dressed, from 4s 3d to 4s 6d per bushel ; cocksfoot 4£d to 4£d per lb f.o.b. Potatoes.—A few sales have taken place during the week at from 303 to 32s 61 per ton nt country stations. Reports from Australia report short crops from excessive drought, which will undoubtedly have a beneficial effect upon this marktt.
