CANTERBURY WOOL SALES,
The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company report having held their sixth auction snle of wool at the Cnristchurch Wool and Grain Warehouses on Wednesday, when every class of wool was well represented in theircatalogue. The attendance was n>l numerous, but tneeale did not suffer in consequence, as biddings were brisk throughout and full rates realised. Out of. 364■ bnl.is offered, 278 found buye s, the 6S Ua'ei withdrawn consisting of t«o scoured clips, which did not reach owner*' reserves. Scoured merino realised !•« 2d to Is 7£d ; greasy merino, ■B{il to 10 I ; greasy crossbred, 7d to B£d : to 9|d.
