Report for the weekending Friday evening the 14th April :— There is no change to report in the state of the market, and values are unaltered ; prices continue firm for ail olaesea of produce.
Wheat—Tuscan wheat in shipping lines will command from 4s 7d to is 9d per 1-usliel f.0.b. ; exceptionally fine Tuucan fit for seed, is worth from 4s §d to 4s 10d per bushel in Christohuroh. Pearl, velvet chaff, and Hunter's white range from 4s 6d to 4e 8d per bushel fio.b..; second quality wheatie worth from 4e Id to 4s ;5d per bushel f.o.b :; broken and chick ' wheat ranges from 2s 6d to 3s 6d per bushel, delivered in Christehnreh.
(Ms—Good iwilling samples sell freely, at from 3s 3d to 3s 6d per bushel ; fair to good feed parcels, from 8s Id to 3s 2d per bushel, delivered in Christehnreh. Barley—Really good malting is in request, and saleable at from 4s to 4s Gil per bushel, delivered in Christchiirch ; second quality ma , ting is not enquired for; feed Pimples 2m 9d to 3s per bushel, delivered in CJliristchurch,
Beans are saleable, at from 4s to 4s Id, delivered in Christchiirch.
Grass Seed—There is little or no demand nt present, and prices have in consequence receded. Well cl aned farmers'lots range from 4m 9d to 5r 3d per bushel; cocksfoot, 4jfd to 5d per lb. Cheese and Butter—The former is worth 4£d per lb ; the latter, 9£d per lb, delivered in Ohristchiirch.
