Thero are 10 stalls piesided over by prominorit ladies of the Catholic Church. Tho Llnli and stalls present a beautiful sight. There wan a largo number of visitors during' \ha day. The Sydenham Council requested the Mayor to ask Government to placo the \c\ia Mayor, Mr J. T. Brown, on the Commission of the Peace. The first meeting of the committee of judging and awards in connection with the Exhibition v/aa field yesterday in tho Inhibition buildings. Tho classification oi ! exhibits was revised ?.nc! divided into sections-. The election of Jurors takes

place on Monday next. This morning Messrs Joubert and Twopeny received from His Excellency W. H. Robinson, Governor of Western Australia, a letter covering one from Earl Kimberley, conveying Her Majesty's acknowledgement of the receipt of a gold medal sent by Messrs Joubort and Twopeny in comtnemeration of the opening of the Exhibition at Perth.
