Five persons have been arrested on suspicion of being insplicated in the murder committed yosterday at Dublin, the motive for which ia supposed to have been a political one. Numbers of arms and several papers of a seditious nature were found in the possession of the accused, and have been ee : zod by the
polico. The election of a member of the House of Coinmona for Carnarvon, in room of the late Mr W. B. Hughes (liberal), took place to-day, and resulted in the return of Mr Geo. Parry, A liberal candidate, by a large majority over the radical candidate, the Right Hon. Dolan
Mr Bright has introduced into the House of Commons, on behalf of the Government, a bill to disfranchise, on account of corrupt practices, the Borougliß of Boston, Macclesfield and Canteibury, and to further suspend for the same causes the seats for Chester, Gloucester, Oxford, and Wigan.
