THE MARKETS. London, March 18. Consols declined to New Zealand securities : 5 percent. 10-50 Loan advanced to 104 ; H per cent. 1879-1904 Loan advanced to 103. Australian tallow and breadstuffs unchanged.

Many persons have been drowned and serious 10-s of property has been caused by the flood.
