"VTOTIOE is hereby given that, in _LM pursuance of the above-named Act, Assessment Courts will be held by me at places as under, for the purpose of hearing and determining all objections to the respective Valuation Lists for the said districts, when all Clerks or other persons duly appointed by and on behalf of the local bodies, and all Valuers and Collectors of the rates of the said districts, will be required to attend the sittings of the said Courts, and produce all the books and papers relating to their respective offices which the Court may require to be produced:— AKAROA AND WAINUI Road Board District— Road Board Office, Head of the Bay, Monday, March 20th, 1882, at 11 o'clock, OKAIN'S Road Board District— Schoolhouse, Okain's Bay, Wednesday, March 22nd, 1882, at 11 o'clock. ELECTION OF COMMITTEES. rnllE householders of the undermenJL tioned Sehoul Districts, that is to say, the Districts of Pigeon Bay Robinson's Bay Port Levy having failed to elect Committees at the Annual Meeting held on January 23rd, the Board, in pursuance of the powers in that behalf conferred by " The Education Act, 1877,' , section 66, hereby directs that a Public Meeting of the householders in every such district be held on Thursday, the twenty-third day of March, One thousand eight hundred and eighty-two, at eight o'clock in the evening, for the election in each District of seven householders (section 64) to form the Committee for such District for the year ending with the lourth Monday in January next. The place of meeting shall be the Schoolhouse in each District.
The Board further directs that the first meeting of each School Committee be held in the place appointed for the election, and immediately after the election, upon the same evening. J. V.
