Ciiiustchurch, March 6.
At the Eesident Magistrate's Court this morning four Chinamen were fined £1 each for playing fan tan. The keeper of the house was fined £5.
The Crown Brewery was fined £18 and costs for neglecting to stamp a cask of beer sent out.
At an inquest held to-day on the body of John Anderson, who died from the effects of a recent accidental collision with a tram car, a verdict of " Accidental Death " was returned.
