Melbourne, February 5.
Two stewards of the steamship Mirzapore have been attacked with small-pox, and two further cases are believed to be developing.
Sydney, February 6.
The Pacific Mail steamship Zealandia has been released from quarantine. The parsengers, before leaving the ship, presented a complimentary address to Capt. Chevalier.
The revenue of New South Wales for the month of January shows an increase of £123,000 compared with the same period last year.
Brisbane, February 6.
A destructive cyclone has been experienced at Cardwell. An hotel and three houses have been completely destroyed* and the jetty and a number of boats have been severely damaged.
