Road Hoard Notice* LITTLE RIVER ROAD BOARD NOTICE. rpHE ANNUAL MEETING of JL Ratepayers will be held at the Road Board Office on Friday, January 6th, 1882, at 12 o'clock, when Nominations of Three Members to serve on the Board will take place in room of Messrs Parkinson, Birdling, and Judge, who go out by rotation, but are eligible for re election. PURSUANT to sec. 35 of " The Regulation of Local Elections Act, 1876," not cc is hereby given, that at an Election for the office of Member for the Okain's Riding, in the County of Akaroa, being an Extraordinary Vacancy, caused by the return of John Beilby Barker being declared void, the following candidates polled the number of votes set opposite their respective names, viz.:— John Beilby Barker ... 29 James Boleyn 42 And I de-lare the said JAMES BOLEYN, having polled the highest number of votes, to be duly elected to the said office.
