ON the 24th and 26th December Excursion Tickets will be issued from Christchurch at the following fares :— First Second Class. Class. To DUNEDIN 30s 20s To INVERCARGILL ... 50s 35s To KINGSTON (for Lakes) 60s 40s These tickets are available for return at any time within 14 days from date of issue.' On 24th inst. passengers' can travel at these fares either by the 8.15 a.m. Express from Christchurch or by a Night Special, which will leave at 8.40 p.m. On the 26th they must travel by 8.15 a.m. Express. An Excursion Train leaves Dunedin at 6.15 a.m. on the 26th, taking forward passengers for the Lakes, arriving at Kingston at 2.25 p.m., where a Steam er will be ready to leave for Queenstown. Passengers for Invercargill or Kingston may leave Dunedin by any Ordinary Train, break their journey at any station south of Dunedin, and go forward afterwards by Ordinary Train. Kingston or Queenstown passengers may travel either by Waimea Plains Railway or via Invercargill, when going or returning. W. M.
