EXCURSION TO AND FROM AKAROA, VIA LITTLE RIVER LINE, DEC. 24th, RETURNING ON 27th; ON December 24th a Train will leave Christchurch at 10 a.m. for Birdling's Flat (the present terminus of the Little River Line), and a Coach will run from sAkaroa, and return in connection tvith the Train. The Train will return to Chris.chu.rch at about 2 p.m., and will be in time to catch the Evening Trains for South bridge, Ashburton, and Amberley, also,the Night. Excursion to $unedin, at '8.40 p.m. '' On December 27th a Special Train will leave Christchurch at 8.25-a.m. for Birdling's Flat, and return at 5 30 p.m., in connection with which a Coach will run from Akaroa and back. This enables; passengers to get into Akaroa on _J4th inst. and return on 27th, or to come from Akaroa on 24th and return on 27th. Railway Fares: Ordinary Single Fares for the return journey.
