mails close •— For United Kingdom, Continent of Europe, India, China, the East, etc., via Brindisi, on Monday, December 19th, at 7.45 a.m. For United Kingdom, etc., via San Fran?isco, on Friday, December 30th, at 7.45 a.m. Notice. —An alteration has been made in the hour of clearing the Receiving Office at Garwood & Co.'s store, in order that correspondence may reach the Post Office in time for delivery with the mails via Pigeon Bay. It is now cleared at 7.30 a.m. and 2 p.m. HENRY W.DAWSON, Postmaster.
