THE SHIPMENT OF CHEESE BY THE ORARI.
To the Editor,
Sir,—Can you inform me through your columns when the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile* Agency Company intend furnishing those persons who forwarded cheese per ship Orari, from Lyttelton to England, with the returns or accounts of sale of cheese, as I am informed that the money was forwarded at the same time by the same ship. The shippers have had the returns some time ago, and as it is nearly eight months since the fehip Orari left Lyttelton, I t>.ink it is quite time that some account of the manner in which the cheese was disposed of, and the price obtained for the cheese, was rendered to each person who shipped cheese, or to the secretary of the Farmers' Club, if we to have any account of it at all. Trusting: you will publish this and give us any- information you may possess on the subject, as I know you are always willing to give publicity to anything of interest to the general public,—Yours, etc.. A MEMBER OF THE FARMERS , CLUB. November 24, 1881.
