THE AKAROA INCUMBENCY.
To tho Editor.
Sir,—Hearing that tlio Rev. Mr Stack h.'is lefiised the incumbency of Akaroa, may I suggest that it is possible to try and keep tlio Roy Harry Stocker amongst up. I believe that it is not by his own wish, but at tlie decision of the Bishop that he is leaving Akaroa for Christchurch, and surely if a memorial signed by the churchmen of Akaroa, were forwarded (o the Primate, ho might yet reconsider his decision, and allow Mr Stockcr to remain in a parish where he has done so much good, and is so universally beloved. If any action is to be taken it must be taken at once— Yours stc,
A CHURCHMAN.
