The early formation of the summit tracks, that a readier access may be provided to the Railway. sth. The division of the Little River Road Board District into two, the Little River Riding thenceforward to constitute the Little River Road Board District 6tli and finally, I should oppose the appropriation amongst themselves, by the Council, of any part of the fußds entrusted to them for disbursements under the character of mileage fees or honorarium. I HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that the County Council have confirmed the decision of the ratepayers that the following Roads shall cease from hereafter to be public highways, in accordance with " The Public Works Amendment Act, 1880, section 4, subsection H:— All that portion of the Old DuvauBay Road, forming respectively the north-eastern and south-western boundary of rural sections 332, 856, and 752, situated in the Akarca and Wainui Road District, County of Akaroa. All that portion of the Le Bon's Bay Road commencing at the junction of the said Le Bon's Bay Road with the Main Valley Road, German Bay, and forming respectively the south-eastern and north-western boundary of rural sections 1922 ami 881, till it joins the south-eastern corner of section 186, thence running through section 1922 till it again joins the eastern boundary of section 186, thence forming the northern and southern boundary of rural sections 2388 and 1922, till it joins the present Le Bor's Bay Road in German Bay, County of Akaroa.
