He is a dark brown of great bone, substance, and symmetry, standing 16 hands, and is admirably suited for getting weightcarrying Hacks or Oarri ige Horses. Terms £3 3s for the season. THE MAGNIFICENT COLT SUNRISE, BY Eclat, out of a grand carriage mare, the property of Messrs Saxton & Williams, will stand this season at the Heitford Farm, Head of the Bay, and will travel the Bays should inducement offer. This grand colt is a three-year-old of great power and substance, with splendid bone; is a worthy descendant of Eclat, having the same fine action and superior constitution as his great sire. He is black with white blaze down face, stands hands high, and was bred by Mr John Smith, of Le Bon's Bay. As a getter of first-class Hacks and really good Carriage Horses he can hardly have a superior. His temper is excellent, and he promises to furnish into a splendid horse. His sire, Eclat, by Camden, out of Prestige, took first prize at the Tasmanian Pastoral Association's Show as a three-year-old, and first prize in his class, against all comers, at the Banks Peninsula Pastoral Association's Shows in 1876 and 1877Terms as per agreement each mare. CHEVALIER, by Prince Charlie, clam Princess Maud (imported from Victoria, and bred by Mr Olgio, of Suubury) ; by Baron of Glenleo (imported from Scotland) out of Princess Maud 3rd, bred by Messrs Mcintosh Bros., by the imported horse Champion, out ot their imported mare Princess Maud Ist, who was never beaten on any show giound in Great Britain or Vie toria, Chevalier is a beautiful dark dapple bay, and was foaled on December 24th, 1873, and for symmetry and substance he cannot be surpassed. Chevalier will be at Akaroa every Monday, and at Little River every Wednesday. Terms, £3, payable January 1, 1882, Guarantee, £4, Groomage fee, ss. payable at time of service.
