OPENING THE CATHEJE.iL.

Extensive preparations arc being made for opening the Cathedral to-morrow. Tiie bells were consecrated to-day in the presence of Mr Rhodes, the donor. The seating capacity for to-morrow will be 900. SKELETON FOUND. The skeleton of a Maori was found by men engaged road making at Opa.va. NEWS FROMTHH FRONT. Mr Bryce telegraphing from the front this morning to Wellington says, a big native meeting is being held at Parihaka* The interpreters sent there have not y-et returned. Important results expected. A telegram from Wellington states, that Mr Rolleston goes to the front to-:iight or tomorrow.
