Outs. -The trade locally is brisker during tho pa>t week, but (here is no im.proveinent in values. Good short millling sorts 2s 2d to 2s 3d f.o.b. ; feed samples ls lOd to 2s per bushel. Barley.—Busine-s during tho week _in ibis cereal has b.en nomii al, the fact being 1 bat really gfOil malting bailey is not to be had. Anything like good quality would meet with icady purchasers at from 2s 9d to 3s Od per bushel ; second quality malting is plentiful, but the dem. nd is very limited, from 2s 3d to 2s 7d per bushel being the value ; iced s..mp!es ls 7d to 2s per bushel. Potatoes —Small ordors are still coming to baud, 25^'to 30s per lon f.o.b, sacks included, the figures at which bil.-i----ness has been done. Grass Seed.—The showery weather which has been experienced has given a slight impulse to the demand ; values ate Mi.ltered, 5s Gd to 5s 9d per bushel for well denned parcels being the value. Cocksfoot—A little more inquiry baa b <en manifested during the week, 34d to 3§d per lb being the value. Cheese and Butter.—3d to .... per lb for the former, 7d to 7£ for the latter.
