Sir, —My attention has been drawn to the fact that as at a present fixed the eloctions will inconvenience a very great number of electors, who would desire to visit Christchureh on the Show day, I beg to state, for the information of those, that any alteration is beyond the power of the Council, as the dale is so fixed by the Counties Act, 1876.—Yours, &c, Jas.
