The announcement contained in Mondays Standard that the Transvaal Valksraadt has refused to ratify the AngloBoer Convention, is not confirmed.
Telegrams received to-day from the Cape report that the Valksraadt is still discussing the Convention, but the speeches of the members have so far been hostile to its ratification.
