SfiEEP Worry NQ. —A correspondent wiites :—This favorite pastime with dogs> whose owners care little what they do, has again commenced this year in Okain's Bay. I am informed two dogs from Little Akaloa have been detected killing and worrying a large number of sheep in the Okain's Valley, where their owners absolutely took them to hunt cattle, though I need scarcely say the ground belongs to the sheep fanner. I must certainly say that men that will enter a valley filled with sheep, and indiscriminately invite their dogs to dash through the sheap of the latter, must have little respect for their neighbors piopeity. Ihe locality is totally covered with timber, and some poople think they have a right to hunt cattle pigs, etc., a? they please. The two dogs were shot, notwithstanding the owners placing much value on them—for sheep killing I suppose. A careful watch is kept fo r other clogs of a like propensity who are supposed to visit the same locality.
