LARCENY OF A £1 NOTE.
William Burnett was charged with this offence. Accused is a resident of Little River, and the person from whom the pound is said to have been taken is John Keenan. No evidence was taken except Constable Smart's as to the arrest. The case was remanded, at the request of the police, for eight days, for the production of evidence. Bail was allowed in one surety of £20.
