"ATOTICE is hereby given, in terms _I_N of section 40 of " The Rating Act, 1876," that the Akaroa and Wainui Road Board, at the meeting to be held on Saturday, the Ist day of October next, intend to make a Rate ot Ninepence in the £ on all rateable property in the said Road District for the period ending the 31st day of March, 1882, and that the said Rate will become payable on the Ist day of November, 1881, in one instalment, at the Office of the said Board.
