Mr A, I. McGregor reports that he held a sale of stock at Mr Wm B.irnett's Home Farm, Le Bon's Bay, last Wednesday, when a considerable amount of were offered. Owing to tbe inclemency of the previous few days, a largo number of stock could not he mustered. On account of Mr Wm. Barnett 45 cows were sold, which ranged from £3 to £7 12sGd. On account of the same owner 4 yearlings and 1 cow were submitted, which realised £1 14s per head ; also 23 two-year-old steers at £3 7s, and 10 two-year-old heifers £2 10s. heifer and steer £3 7s each, and heifer £3 lGs6d. On account of Mr Bailey, 1G mixed sexes of young cattle at £4. J. Kirby, 1 cow, £3 124 Gd. H. Barnett, son., 5 two-year-steers, 1 three-year-old do 2 two-year old heifers at £3 lis, cow and calf £2 ss, and 21 bead mixed ages and sexes at £3 lGs Gd, cow £3 2s Gd, and cow and calf £3 12s Gd. Gn account of H. Condon. 1 bull £6 10s, cow £3 2s Gd. and two steers £2 10s. The company was excellent and the biddings spirited, and much larger lines could eassJy have been cleared at satisfactory prices.
