DEATH OF MR MOORHOUSE,
Wellington, September 15
Mr Moorhouse died this morning. He was not able to attend the sittings of tbe House this session. When the House met this morning at eleven o'clock the Premier moved that tbe House, out of respect to the deceased gentleman, adjourn till half-past seven in the evening. Mr Hali, Sir G. Grey, and Mr Macandrew all SDOke feeling!;}' of the loss the House and country bad sustained. Tbe motion was carried without dissent. The Government placed the sleamer Stella at ihe service of tbe deceased gentlemen's friends, to convey tbe body to Canteibury to be buried'in the Eiccarlon grave yard. The Stella will leave to-morrow at throe 'clock.
