AUSTRALIAN NEWS.
(Reuters Telegrams.) (Special to the Mail.; Adelaide, August 25. Telegrams are to hand from Beachfort, conveying news that the steamship Euno, 254 tons, has struck on a rock off the coast near that place, and has; become a total wreck. She sank in twenty minutes, and the passengers and crew numbering 45, narrowly escape t with their lives. One passenger, a lady, was drowned, Sydney, August 25. Rumors are freely current in town of gross mismanagement at the small-pox quarantine station. In the Legislative Assembly last night a motion was introduced by Mr Forster requiring the appointment of an additional Royal Commissioner to act with Mr Julyan Salomons, Q.C., in the enquiry into the Milburne Creek Copper Company's affair. The Government have accepted the motion as one conveying an expression of want of confidence, and the House has in consequence adjourned to Wednesday next when the motion will be debated. I
