AUSTRALIAN NEWS.
(Special to The Mail.) Melbourne, July 4. The Royal Princes will receive addresses to-day from the Mayor and various local bodies, and will proceed on a visit to Sandhurst to-morrow. It has transpired that under instructions from the Admiralty the Detached Squadron is due at Fiji on the 18th August. Nothing definite has transpired as to result of the interview which took place on Saturday, between the Premier and Governor, when the former recommended His Excellency to grant a dissolution.
