The whole of the works must be tendered for in sections as under : — I—Main Road to Christchurch, from Waeckerle's Hotel to Robinson's Bay. 2—From Robinson's Bay to junction of Wainui Road, in Barry's Bay. 3 —From Wainui Road Junction to Red John's Gully. 4—Pigeon Bay Main Road, from Birdling's Junction to Saddle at boundary of district. 5 — Onuku Road, from borough boundary to Mr Koegan's. 6 —Long Bay Road, from German Bay Saddle to end ol formation at George's Bush. 7—Okain's Road, from junction of Main Road at Mr S. Curry's tc boundary of district on Saddle. B—Wainui Road, from junction with Main Road to Mount Bossu. 9—Hains's Summit Road, from Old Pigeon Bay Road Saddle to junction with Main Road at Barry's Pass. Specifications may be seen at the Board's office, Duvauchelle's Bay, on and after Saturday, 25th inst. Tenders to be sent in on or before Saturday, 2nd July next, at noon, endorsed and addressed to tbe Chairman. I The Little River Road Board having thought fit, for reasons best known, to its members, to refuse (illegally, we believe) to insert its notices in the, local journal, we have decided to give them gratuitous publication, as many of our subscribers would be injuriously affected by the absence of these notices from onr columns through the action taken by the members of the Board. TAKE Notice that at a meeting of the Board, held on the 6th instant, it was resolved that a General Rate of 6d in the £ be levied for the ensuing year, and a rate of Id in the £ on that part of this district within the jurisdiction of the South Waimakariri Board of Conservators. To construct approaches to bridge at Little River Re-form and metal about 80 chains road from Tai Tapu to Lincoln Break 500 yards metal at Tai Tapu and 300 on the hill road leading to Akaroa Specifications to be seen at Store, Tai Tapu ; Hotel, Little River ; and office.
