The Alice Jane is lying in the stream waiting for a chance to get out. She is bound for Lyttelton with 23,000 ft timber. Captain Hoist reports that all the Akoroa traders are loaded in Lyttelton waiting for a chance to get mil, therefore, they may be expected any time.
