Australian tallow has advanced Gd per cwt.; best beef is quoted at 35s Bd, best mutton at 37s 6d. The total stock of tallow in London on the 18th ult. was 11,200 casks. Best Scotch pig iron, No. 1, free on board in the Clyde, 48s ; galvanized iron, 2G gauge, £16 10s. June 4. In the House of Commons last night stormy scenes occured, during the consideration ot tho Irish Land Bill in Committee, owing to the obstructive tactics of the Irish members. Mr J. O'Kelly, member for lioscoinmon, was most disorderly, and was finally by the Speaker's order suspended for the remainder of the sitting. Both Houses of Parliament now btancl adjourned to tho 9th inst for the Wliitsun recess. Owing to tho continuance of disturbances in Ireland, further reinforcements of troops have been ordered across the Channel to augment tho forces in the disaffected districts. The police in Ireland are now actively engaged in searching for arms in the houses of suspected persons, in accordance with the powers conferred by the Irish Anns Act. Constantinople, June ?>. The foreign ambassadors in this city are strenuously urging the Porte to expedite the partition of the territory in Thcssaly and Epirus, which is to be ceded for tho extension of tno Greek frontier. Athens, June 3. Commissioners have now been appointed by the Greek Government to carry out the terms of the frontier Convention with Turkey, in conjunction with commanders to be appointed by the Porte.

London, June 8. The race for tlie Oaks Stakes was run at Epsom to-day, and in a victory for Mr (JiMwfiud's Thebfiis ... 1 Lucy Giitters 2 Myra 3 Mr Gladstone has addressed a letter to the Press, in which lie denies that the Viceroy of Ireland lias suggested to Government the advisability of taking steps for tiic suppression of the Irish Land League. Serious disturbances continue to occur iii Ireland. At Clare, to-day, a body of Irish peasants armed with Snider rifles, oil'ered violent resistance to the service of certain writs. Shots were exchanged with the troopers, who were present to support the process-servers. One man was killed, and many others seriously wounded. In the House of Commons to-day, the Irish Land Bill was further considered in Committee. It was urged by the opponents of the measure that action should be taken by the Government in regard to absenteeism, and Mr Gladstone eventually announced that proper steps would be taken to deal with the question of residence of landlords in Ireland.
