Later intelligence has been received from Canada concerning the steamboat accident which occurred near London in the Province Ontaria, to the effect that two hundred corpses have already been recovered. Negotiations have commenced between tho English and French Governments for a renewal of the treaties of 1860 and 1873 for regulating the international commerce of the two countries, The treaties will, under existing engagements, terminate in October next, unless their extension or renewal be agreed upon.
