To the Editor. Sir, —Having of late been troubled with my neighbors' cows, now I may not drive these to the pound except at given hours. Neither am I allowed to turn them on the road ; if T do I am held responsible for them. Now by these bye-lawa lam compelled to keep that cow in my garden until such a time as the Borough bye-laws permit of my driving it to the pound, and during that time the owner may take his cow. If I should pull him for damages, I am instantly asked why I permitted the cow to do £5 of damages, whilst I stopped any damages to my property by placing it on the road.
