LATEST JUROPEAN. (Rhoter's Telegrams.) (Special to The Mail.) London, March, 15. The homeward Australian and New Zealand mails, via Brindisi, and via San Francisco, were delivered here to-day. (From The Lyttelton Times.) St. Petjehsbuho, March 13. The Czar, accompanied by his was witnessing a parade of troops in the city to-day, when a bomb was suddenly thrown among the spectators, and fell close to where he was standing. It exploded but did no harm to His Majesty. A second bomb was almost simultaneously thrown, and this shattered his leg and otherwise mortally wounded him. He was at once conveyed to a house near athaml,but His Majesty died within two hours Irom loss of blood,

though every effort was made by the doctors, who were at once in attendance, to stop the flow. Great consternation was caused on the parade ground when the bombs were thrown and when the effect of their explosion waa seen.
