All horses that run in district and county races shall have been the bona fide property of residents of the district and county for at least three months prior to race date. No horse allowed to run unless ho is bona fide property of a subscriber of one guinea to the race fund. No protest will be entertained unless accompanied by a fee of one guinea, which will be forfeited, if considered frivolous. All protests to be made in writing within a quarter of an hour S after the race. Nominations for handicap races to be addressed to the Secretary, Little River, on or before March 1, with entrance money enclosed, name, age, and performance of horse, name of owner, and colors of rider.
