Oliver intends to resign his seatin the Govei'nienti .Hitherto these have been without foundation ; but it is now generally understood that Mr Oliver is perfectly concious oi the a-t that he is not popular ; but he has .'c' his mini to carry out what he admits 'o be an unthankful task. When this has been accomplished, he will only be too willing to retire into private life
