GRAIN AND PRODUCE.
Little can be noted as having transpired in the grain market lately. With the continuance of the extremely lino weather we have had during the past week a line harvest may be looked forward to. Old wheat is being soli at the last quotations of 4s 3d, but it is almost too early yet to gauge the value of the new crop. A few sales for quick delivery are reported to hfive taken place at $c 9J to 3s 10d. Chick wheat has been sold freely lately at Is 9d to 2s 4d, according to sample. Milling oats stand at Is 7d to Is 7£d, and feed Is 3d to Is sd. Some inferior grades have been quitted at la to la Id. We have not yet heard of many transactions in the new bailey, but there are buyers at 3a Gd and upwards for best sorts. Flour has been selling freely at £11. Mutter is quoted at Gd. Cheese continues dull. Hams and bacon are unaltered.
