STRAY CATTLE.
To the Editor
Sir, —Can you tell me the reason why so ninny horses and cattle are allowed to wander at large about our streets through the night, 10 the great danger of our necks and gardens ? Is it on account of tin; large overdraft, or the immense amount of work done by the force prevents them rising early enough to catch the owners of the said wanderers in ilieir rambles after them?
