Bombay, Dec. 29.
It is announced that, owing to reinforcements being required for the suppression of the Boer rebellion, in the Transvaal, a contingent of the Indian Native troops has been ordered to proceed iaimediately to Natal, and the ■necessary arrangements are now being made for the despatch of forces from this port.
Bkulix, Dec. 29.
A report is current here that a squadron of the German navy h s been ■ordered to be got ready to proceed to the Pacific in March next. No official confirmation of the rumour however, lias yet been published.
