Claim £20 for use and occupation of the brewery premises. Mr C. M. Ilemiing appeared for plaintiir, who was not present. Defendant pleaded " Not indebted." His Worship asked Mr Hennin.u: how he proposed to prove his case in the absence ot his principal. Mr Kenning relied upon his client having destrained for rent due up to Sap*. 1. A quarter had become due sime then. Defendant disputed the legality of the distress. His Worship would adjourn the case for a fortnight, but should deciine to grant any further adjournment. Defendant wo , lid be allowed the expenses of tlie clay. The Court then adjourned.
