Mesprs H. Matson and Co. report—On Thursday, at our Canterbury Wool Stores, we held our usual weekly sale of the above. There was an average attendance of fellmorigors, the prices realised being f air and fully up to anticipations. Our catalogue for the day consisted of 2004 sheepskins, 13G bags fat, 85 hides and a few packages of tallow, the wlHe of which were disposed of at tho following quotations : —Be.-t cross-bred skins made from Gs to 8s Gd each ; second quality •iu-m' l c from 5s to 5s 9d each ; medium from 3s 6d to 4s lid each ; best merinos ni.'iclo Qh io Gh 5.1 each ; second quality n-; ;■?) 5s 10d each, medium, 3s to 4s 9d. Country iii'ido from Is to Gd. as per de::rrii>tio!i ; and green peltr. nude from •la to Iβ 5d each ; do, dry, 5d to lid each ; lanib-kins, la to Is 7d each. Bast dry fnt mfuln 2d to 2}d per 11) ; second qualit}', ljd to ; interior from Id to ljjd per lb ; hides, 2id per lb ; calfskins, 4d per lb.
