The most pleasing feature of the week has been the opportune fall of rain which will be of incalculable benefit to the farm ing interest. Wheat.—Best nailing is quoted at 3s 3d to 4s 4d ; inferior parcels have been sold at3s6d to3s!od. Oats.—-Best • milling stand at Is Bd. Feed qualities range from Is 3.1 to Is sd, according to sample but also share with heavy oats an absence of enquiry. Barley.—Best is quoted at 3s 3d to 3s Gd, and other sorts 2s 9d to 2s lOd. Feed lots are quiet at Is Gd to Is I M. Flour is in fair demand at £10 10s to £11. Ryegrass is without theslighest inquiry. A few sales of cocksfoot, to clear stocks, have been made at a price withheld. Dairy Produce.—The quotation for butter stands at 5f d to Gd ; cheese, 4d : bains and baoon in cloth, 9d.
