Notwithstanding the consent given by ■the Albanian chiefs to the cession of Dulcigno, tite citizens are rebelling against the decision, and ask that a month's delay may be granted in which to undertake the surrender. Dervish P-Bslin, the Turkish commander, refuses to grant any further delay i&nd threatens to use force to make an immediate transfer of the town to Mantenegro.

Several shocks of earthquake have been •experienced at Agraru, which has suffered most terribly. Half the tewn has been destroyed.
