The Rev. T. P. Wale, Rector of the Church of St Videst, Foster lane, Cheapside, London, who some time ago was inhibited for Ritualistic practises, has now been sentenced to imprisonment for contempt of the decision of the Ecclesiarical Court. Persistent reports are being published in various English and Continential journals that the Czar of Russia is afflicted with par.tlysis. No authentic news on the subject has, however, yet been received. October 81. Three per cent consols, ; Adelaide wheat,, per 41)fj lbs, ex warehouse, 48s Gd ; best Australian beef tallow, per cwt, 85h Gd ; mutton tallow, 36s Gd. CONSTANTINOPLE. Oct. 20. News Ins been received that a messenger despatched to Dulcigno by I'iza Pasha, commander of the Turkish forces, has been murdered. The act is attributed to disaffected Albanians.

Intelligence has been received that the tribes of predatory Khurds who have again crossed the frontier from Khurdistan, in Asiatic Turkey, in the Persian Province of Azebijan, are continuing their depredations, and have taken possession of the town of Urumyah, near the lake of the same name. They are further reported to be advancing on Tabrecs, a town of considerable size in the interior of the province, and are pillaging and laying waste towns and villages on their route. It is expected that the Persian troops undey Hiechmet Dowlah will shortly come up with the enemy.
Capetown, Oct. 29
Telegrams have been received announcing that the tribe of Pondus has risen against the British and have murdered two magistrates. Further intelligence is also to hand regarding the war in Basutoland. The Cape Rifles, under Carrington, have taken the village of Lethodo, the most powerful Basuto chief, after a desperate defence. Continuous fighting is proceeding with large bodies of the enem at different points.
