Wheat.—Good milling quality is saleable at 4a to 4d 2d, and extra lots at a shade over these rates. Second-class realises 3s Gd to 3s 10d. A few sales of chick havo beef) made at 2s to 2e 9d, according to quality. Q a tß. —Bright heavy milling are quoted at la 7d to Is Bd. Best feed, Is 4d to Is 5d ; and inferior grades, Is Id to Is 3d. Barley.—Quotations are without alteration. Good malting, 2s Gd to 2s 10d, and anything approaching first-clacs is saleable up to 3» Gd. Fail sales of seed lots litve transpired at Is Gd to Is 9d. Potatoes. —The sea*on may be looked upon as almost closed. They are completely neglected, and prices are purely nominal.
Flour has had fair attention at ii 10 10s to £11, according to brand, but the demand if anything ia reported to b<! much quieter. Grass Seed.—The enquiry has slackened off., and comparatively few sales hare taken place. Good need line been placed »t 2a Gd, while some diriy lota hnvo changed hands as lew as Is (id to la ICM. Dairy Produce.—Butter is offering plentifully, though sellers and buyers are not agreed as to values. s|d to Grt is about <he quotation. Cheese, 4d. Hams and liacon unchanged.
