GRAIN AND PRODUCE.

Wβ have not much of a special nature to report in connection with the grain market during the week just closed. A fair amount of business has been carried through on almoßt the same basis of quotations as the week proceeding. Wheat. —A few sales are reported at 4s Id to 4s 2d for first-class milling. Average lots are quoted at 3s 10d to 4s. Several parcels of chick wheat have been sold dining the past few days at prices ranging between 2a and 2s Gd. Oats.—The market for this grain has not altered in any particular. Bright heavy milling command Is 7d to Is Bd, nud several heavy linos have within the last day or two been taken up at the above values. Transactions in feed oats have been fairly numerous at Is 3d to Is 4d, and for an extra good lot Id more has been got. Inferior descriptions are quoted at Iβ Id to Is 21.

Barley.—First-class finds buyers from 3s 3d to 3b 6d, and fair malting at 2s Gd to 2s 9d. Feed descriptions continue comparatively plentiful, and are not in much request; values are Is Gel to Is 9d. Potatoes continue very difficult to sell, and the market is thoroughly listless, with a thorough absence of enquiry. Rates aro purely nominal. Flour is in excellent demand at £10 10s to £11.

Grass Seed. —Not much can reported as having transpired in rye grass. Prices remain unaltered. Several large parcels ©f cocksfoot have been tried lately without leading to business.
