The week just closed has been devoid of any marked characteristic. The accounts coming to hand from the various dißtriGts are all confirmatory of the exceed ingly fine weather with which the country has been favored during the sowing treason.

Wheat.—The market for this grain has not altered in tone since our last report The demand for good milling samples continues at 4s Id to 4s 2d, and for extra quality ft shade over those rates is obtainable. Quotations for seed parcels still remain at 4s 6d to 4s 9d, according to purity of seed. Oats.—Fine bright milling samples of oats are readily saleable at ls6d to Is 7Ad. For good stout feed quality Is 4d to Is 5d are the ruling values, while the lower grades, which are in plentiful supply, are quoted at 1» Id to Is 3d. Barley.—Prime lota are next to unobtainable. Best samples, which are alflo not over plentiful, are quoted at 3s 3d to 3s 6d. Good fair mailing lota range between 2s 6d to 2s lOd. Feed parcels continue difficult to place except at very low limits.

Potatoes continue Blow of sale, and we cannot report any improvement in prices. Grass Seed has been moving during the week with a little more life, although rates have not advanced. A few fanners' samples of well dressed seed have been taken up at 2b s<i to 2s 6d.
